Kayou just dropped the in-hand images for the upcoming Ninja Age QR cards.
•QR & ◇QR: Feature cute chibi-style character designs with embroidered details
•◇QR: Serialized to 72.
•QR: Serialized to 720.
Both card tiers feature an embroidery patch layered inside a thick card frame.
Personally, I think combining embroidery with trading cards is a pretty creative concept. However, since the QR cards turn all characters into Chibi versions, fan reactions have been a bit split. Some love the Chibi art style, while others aren't into it at all.
I’m not a huge fan of Chibi myself, but I absolutely love the embroidery craftsmanship. Since this is the first time an embroidery card has appeared in the English version of Kayou Naruto, that alone is a major reason why I want to collect it!
Since QR cards are serialized, they’re definitely going to be a tough pull. If...I mean If every case guarantees serials, how many serials would you need to pull per case to be okay with one of them being a QR card? Or have you already decided that the QR card is your ultimate chase?
What are your thoughts? How do they compare to the Chinese edition of Ninja Age?
