Hey Winx fans!
I'm Gougou from G4F. I'm here to bring you first-hand news, updates, and in-depth analysis on all things Kayou!
G4F is an official distributor for Kayou, and we're super excited to partner with this subreddit. Moving forward, we'll also be hosting giveaways and dropping exclusive perks right here for the community!
The pre-order for Kayou x Winx Club cards is officially in full swing, and we're already seeing a ton of previews and card art dropping on Instagram!
Many Winx Club fans might have already gotten their hands on the exclusive Comic-Con PR card. It seems I can't send pictures to you, but someone has already posted pictures of the mini cards on Insta, and they look official too. But this is NOT the PR card for the products being released this time
While these cards look absolutely stunning, plenty of fans are still on the fence, wondering if they are actually worth buying. In this post, I've compiled everything you need to know to help you decide if you're ready to jump into this hobby!
What is Kayou? First, a quick introduction to Kayou. Kayou is a renowned card manufacturer in China with a massive lineup of officially licensed IP trading cards, including Ultraman, My Little Pony, Naruto, and more. You might have already heard of Kayou Naruto, K-pop Demon Hunters, MLP, or Demon Slayer in US. Kayou is known for vibrant color contrasts and lavish card finishes—making them a perfect match for IPs with rich visuals and strong expressive styles.
As an industry leader, all Kayou products are 100% officially licensed. Buying these directly supports the franchise we all love, making every card a legitimate piece of official merch.
Kayou recently achieved massive success with the K-pop Demon Hunters (KPDH). If you think about it, KPDH has great music, magic, flashy outfits, and magical girls... all elements that define Winx Club as well, right? Could this mean Kayou x Winx Club is destined to be another huge hit?
From what I know, Kayou is preparing several major promotional events for Winx Club. While details are still hush-hush, we can already see collaborations popping up with influencers and community leaders. It's clear that Kayou is putting a lot of weight behind this IP!
Kayou will be releasing 3 versions of Winx Club cards, with 2 formally announced so far: Magic and Daily. Costume party (mini cards) were originally scheduled to be announced at the end of the month, but it seems Winx Club fans couldn't wait and announced them early.
Referencing Kayou's KPDH release, both Magic & Daily will likely share some lower-rarity cards in their pool. However, the Magic pack ($3.99) will cost more than the Daily pack ($1.99). Magic features a larger card pool with more rarity tiers, meaning less duplicates, more unique cards to collect, and exclusive numbered cards (limited-run hits that require luck or budget to pull). Daily has a smaller card pool, making it easier to stack duplicates, but with fewer high-tier hits to chase. Magic boxes get a higher level of premium card treatments and finishes compared to Daily.
TL;DR:
- Magic Version: Best for hardcore collectors and TCG enthusiasts chasing super rare hits.
- Daily Version: Great for casual fans looking to test their luck and collect just for fun
A Friendly Note: Since trading cards involve RNG, we don't have exact pull rates for WinxClub yet. Based on other Kayou releases, buying 1 box usually guarantees at least one relatively rare hit, though there's no promise you'll hit the top chase card or your personal favorite.
Plus, once you enter the hobby, you will end up with a stack of duplicate "bulk" cards. But that's where the real magic happens.. One of the best parts of this hobby is trading, chatting, and showing off cards with fellow fans who share your taste. Some people get lucky, some don't, but always spend responsibly—having fun is what matters most!🍀
