After cracking a few packs, I’ve found myself becoming genuinely interested in the MLP lore and its various spin-offs. This post is my way of testing the waters of the MLP universe using my background in Kayou cards, and I hope it helps out fellow collectors. So, starting with my entry point—NA-MLP Moon 2—here’s a breakdown of the card rarities and art.

1. Basic info  Moon 2 is a massive set celebrating the 15th Anniversary of My Little Pony, featuring a whopping 189 card types across 10 different rarities. NA version specs: 12 or 24 Packs per Box/8 Cards per Pack. (Tip: Knowing the pack count helps you verify sealed boxes and avoid tampered loose packs online)

This tier includes 1 specific Overseas Exclusive Card（the last Rainbow one） that is ONLY available in NA boxes. Rainbow Dash is definitely my favorite pony so far, and this card is just stunning❤️

LSR (Limited Super Rare) -16 Types

These are with the gorgeous "golden thread sticker" style. What I love most about these is the background details! They perfectly capture familiar Equestrian locations: the books of the Golden Oak Library, the clouds of Cloudsdale, and the apples from Sweet Apple Acres. The background is literally part of the story. (Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are honestly so beautiful.)

SGR (Super Golden Rare) - 8 Types

Total elegance. The textured gold foil on these is blindingly beautiful. These cards are a direct tribute to the Grand Galloping Gala! They feature the Mane 6 in their iconic, original dresses from their very first Gala. Rarity's exquisite designs and Rainbow Dash’s unconventional look are perfectly displayed here.

SC (Secret Rare) - 7 Types

Gemstone magic. The ponies' iconic manes are transformed into flowing, crystalized gemstones. The diamond-like texture catches the light to look like real cut gems. Absolutely stunning in a binder. Honestly, these are my absolute favorite cards from the entire set. It fits the 15th Anniversary vibe perfectly, but it’s been dodging me so far😢

ZR & ◇ZR (Zenith Cards) - 7+1 Types

These cards show our beloved ponies meeting the enchanting universe in grand celebratory attire. The ◇ZR is more like a compilation of the previous ZR art. Every pony stands out individually, but seeing them all unite for the 15th Anniversary celebration is just heartwarming

Beyond the 189 standard cards, there's also a PR card. Twilight Sparkle making her grand entrance among the skyscrapers gives off major superhero/comic book vibes! It looks incredible.
