Hey everyone! It's been a long journey, but Kayou is finally giving us a glimpse of Series 3. I’ve organized the early details to help the community understand what’s coming. I'll be keeping a close eye on further reveals and will post updates as soon as they drop!

This series is the conclusion to the Young Naruto storyline (Sasuke Retrieval Arc). This is peak nostalgia—Naruto vs. Sasuke at Final Valley. The overall aesthetic and detailing are definitely improved this time. Let’s start breaking things down by looking at the official details everyone is buzzing about.

1.185 cards First off, based on the full card list I’ve seen, the 185 cards count does NOT include the PR cards. Kayou is keeping their cards close to their chest this time—no info on the art, the rarity, or even the total types of PRs.

From what I can tell, it’s either going to be something totally forgettable, or Kayou is cooking up something massive. Which one do you think it is?

2. 13 Rarities & Brand-new card types: ASP • ◇ASP • ◇UR Even though it’s a global launch, the "early leaks" of the Chinese version have already flooded the community. We've basically seen all the card art by now. Combined with Kayou’s official teasers, the rarity list is pretty much an open secret at this point.

To put it simply, Series 3 adds three new rarities on top of Series 2: ASP, ◇ASP, and ◇UR and remove SP. The "◇" symbol basically represents the special cards for this set. In case you missed my previous posts, here’s a refresher of the Series 2 rarities for comparison:

3. 5 serialized rarities Just as I predicted, Kayou is being incredibly ambitious with Series 3. While Series 2 only had numbered PR cards, this time you’ll have the chance to pull 5 different types of numbered cards directly from the packs!

As of today, Kayou has officially announced all of the serialized rarities mentioned above. I’m going to add some extra details in this post to fill in the gaps. I’ll try my best to avoid any major "leaks," but if I get a nudge from Kayou's official team, I’ll have to edit or remove these details immediately. So, make sure to read this while you can.

BP-7 types(1-999): There isn't much to say about this rarity—it sticks with the ink and dreamscape aesthetic. While it’s still visually stunning, I have to admit there’s no groundbreaking change here. Fans in my server have been complaining about why Kayou even bothered to add serial numbers to BPs, and honestly, I think they have a point. Of course, I’m not complaining about a numbered BP Itachi

AR-6 types(1-777): AR cards were already a huge hit in Series 2, and adding serial numbers will definitely make them even more sought after. The style for this set is similar to S2, but it leans much heavier into the Ukiyo-e art style—which I personally love! Most of the characters chosen this time are the Legendary Sannin in their combat forms, and the artwork is just bursting with dynamic tension Btw, the Tsunade card is hands down my favorite among these

SE - 4 types(1-220): A key art style for Series 3 is definitely the Ukiyo-e aesthetic. Even for the SE cards—which held the highest rarity in previous sets—Kayou chose an Ukiyo-e style blended with traditional Japanese noble attire to achieve a more "regal and luxurious" look.

To be honest, I think the SEs are a "wait and see" for now. It’s a bold departure from Series 1 & 2, which is an encouraging move, but it also means the popularity will depend heavily on the community's taste for this specific style. For me personally, the Kimono/Noble style isn't quite my cup of tea, but as their first attempt at this direction—and with serialization—they definitely hold significant collector value.

Also, the print run of /220 is a nice touch, as it corresponds to the original 220 episodes of the anime. That extra layer of meaning definitely adds to the collectibility.

ASP - 8 types(1~99) & ◇ASP-8 types(1-9)

"Epic ninja techniques, reimagined in a fully upgraded art style" The quote above is Kayou’s official description of the ASP rarity. To me, the most exciting content often needs the least introduction. The art style for the new ASPs is a total departure from anything we’ve seen—a mix of ink-wash and a fresh illustration style that packs a massive punch. I’m personally obsessed with it! That said, with such a terrifyingly low print run, expect a total bloodbath in the secondary market.

The ◇ASP shares the same art as the ASP but features a full-art, borderless style. And here’s the kicker: only 9 copies of each card exist. > A little "off the record" tip for you: Series 3 is a global launch, and the NA (North American) version is strictly limited. I can’t reveal the exact numbers, but I can tell you this—If you manage to pull any serialized card within 5 cases , you’re already a total luck guy. But if you hit an ◇ASP within 100 cases? Bro, you seriously need to pop the champagne and you are A Lucky GOD. And yes, you read that right—I’m talking about CASES here, not boxes.
